Many friends want to feel good instantly, especially when coming across some unpleasant things. In fact, feeling good is very easy if you know some simple tips. Here I list 18 tips to make you feel good instantly:

11.Watch a good movie
Compared with book, a good and interesting movie will have more instant effect on feeling good. It is difficult to keep sad on watching a funny comedy. A good movie will create laugh, as we all know, laugh will certainly make us feel good.
12.Call or confide to your good friends
Share your feelings with your friends. Sometimes we will find that it is difficult to teach ourselves to be happy or to change to be happy. Calling or confiding to good friends will release the bad feelings little by little, sometimes there is no need to talk about your bad feelings. The content of the conversation is not so important.
13.Enjoy or Sing a song you love
Do you love music? Are you one of the fans of some pop stars? Come on and enjoy his or her songs and dance with the songs if you can. You will find that this is perhaps the most suitable tip for you to feel good at any time.
14.Raise your voice and laugh

Many friends want to feel good instantly, especially when coming across some unpleasant things. In fact, feeling good is very easy if you know some simple tips. Here I list 18 tips to make you feel good instantly:

1.Begin and end a day with gratitude
A new day is a new start of life. Begin a day with good feelings will certainly bring good luck for us. If we can also end a day feeling good, we will certainly feel the satisfactions this day bring to us.
Gratitude is an easy tip to help us beginning a new good day. Just thinking of what make you feel grateful: a small helping from your workmates, a kiss or hug from your lover, a praise from your boss or friends, a remainder from your parents and a pleasing life you enjoy now and so on. You can make a gratitude list or just say “thank you” silently in your heart.
2.Plan for the day in advance for the goal of experiencing joy
With a plan listed, we can know whether we are doing a right thing now or whether we have missed some important things. It is not necessary to complete all the things in the list, but it will certainly make you feel good to complete the most important things in the list.
3.Meditation
Meditation is the best tip I have used when I come across unpleasant things and I find it very effective. Meditation is very easy to describe, but to enter a good meditation state needs some practice.
4.Creative visualization
Different from meditation, creative visualization will always need some pleasant imagines in our mind. We can first use meditation to make us calm down and then use creative visualization to bring good feelings to us.
5.Seek daily joy
It is easy to feel good every day because our life is full of small pleasures. Open our eyes and pay attention to them will recreate a colorful world in front of us. Stay still and feel the sound of laugh, the smell and beauty of flowers, and all the living animals and plants.
6.Decorate your work environment with pleasing plants if possible
This is a simple but effective tip. If possible, simple decoration will change the atmosphere where we are working, and then our feelings are also changed.
7.Drink water
Drink water is not only the necessity of physical body, but also the needing of mind. Some researches have proved that drinking water is helpful to feel good.
8.Smile to yourself and others
It is proven that smile is not only the action from the physical body, but also the expression of feelings. It is lucky for us that active to smile will give ourselves great internal supports to feel good.
9.Revive yourself

Creative visualization : Feel peaceful and good in walking time

Walking time means the time that we spend on walking, in the car, taking the subway or airplane and waiting for something etc. These periods are always ignored by us in daily life and we often let our feelings freely go during these periods. In fact, we can actively feel peaceful and good during these periods and the method is easy.

In the previous article ideas on getting into alpha level state quickly during creative visualization, I have shared two methods from two famous books Creative Visualization: Use the Power of Your Imagination to Create What You Want in Your Life (Gawain, Shakti) and “ask and it is given”. Although the methods introduced are used before visualization and they all need a comfortable place, we can also learn from them to get into a peaceful state during walking time. Of course, it is not easy to get into the alpha level in walking time, but it is relative easier to get into the state of peace. The steps are very easy, but before we begin, we shall know one truth that is:

Only we can really decide which state we will be in, whenever, wherever and whatever, no exceptions.

It is no need to know why it is correct, what we shall do is to do and feel right now so as to experience the power of the sentence above. Now coming the easy method:

slow down our breath and actions, breathe gently and deeply, find the smiles around you or image a bright future if you can, keep a light smile on your face

The sentence is simple but very important and effective. Every day, busy life always makes us forget these simple actions to feel good and peaceful, but fortunately, we are only forget them and it is easy to remind ourselves of them and actively enjoy the good from them only if we begin practicing right now.

Personal examples

I like walking to work every day. It is about 10 minutes’ walk. In former times, I always walk hurry and ignore the enjoyment during these 10 minutes’ walk. After I know this method, I begin to try it. I slow down my steps, first breathe slowly and gently, then deeply, keep a light smile on my face, try to find smiles or laughter around me while walking. Sometimes I will begin visualization when it is safe. With a light smile on my face, I imagine the best and enjoyable working state I will experience when beginning work. I imagine I am surrounded by good feelings from myself and other workmates. All these give me good feelings and I find that 10 minutes’ walk has prepared me best for the next working period. If you heard of and believe the law of attraction, you will know all the things I have done is attracting good things. And it really is attracting indeed.

During waiting time periods, such as taking the subway or airplane or purely waiting for something, I always close my eyes if I can because that will make me pay more attention to myself and attract good feelings. The steps are almost the same as those during walking. I still keep a light smile, begin visualization and feel good and peaceful from it. During these periods, I always visualize the image on one or several goals. I get myself into the good feelings of implementing them as deeply as possible. In my visualization, I create sounds, static and dynamic pictures, concrete feelings of touching and happy and lovely looking of myself. When it is not proper to close eyes, I will look at only one place and then begin the visualization. During these periods, slowing down and breathing are very important especially at the beginning, after a while, you will find that you can easily keep in the state of peace and good, and breath and slowed down actions are only the chronic behaviors.
