Improving page views is always the most important task for bloggers. Good page views always can improve your blog traffic potentially. And page views number is also one most important standard for advertisers. In this way, to improve page views means to improve our income too.
Unlike traffic building, page views can be improved quickly and easily with the help of wordpress plugins and your little effort.
1. Self linking in the posts.
You new post will perhaps refer to one older post you have written before. Rather than leaving that older post aside, you can let it known by using self linking it in your posts. Select intentionally some older posts and link them in your new posts or popular posts, they will regain their lives.
New posts can also been linked in the older posts if you like. More internal linking will also make you popular with search engines.
2. Selecting top posts or popular posts
Some of your posts were read much more times than other ones. You can’t let them buried by your new posts either. Put them on your sidebar or bottom of your blog, more attention will be attracted to them. Combined with self linking, you can create more page views easily and quickly.
3 adding related posts
Adding related posts at the bottom of each post, you can draw further attention to your blog. Wordpress has a plungin which can help you automate this task.
4 adding random posts
To get more page views, we can randomly select some posts for users to read. Some posts, especially old posts, can’t be found by the 3 ways above. But with the help of random post selection, they can continue their performance again. Wordpress have also a plungin on this function.
I am sure there are other ways for page views improving, please feel free to leave them in the comments.
