bad meditation habits

Through my own meditation experience and the questions from customers, I find there are 3 bad meditation habits which we always have.

Of course, I hope that we are all away from these meditation habits and can enjoy the best of meditation. But you can still check this list to get meditation skill improved.

1. pay too much attention on the outside environment

Some of you have learned some tips on meditation from other sources which say that a SUCCESSFUL meditation needs a quiet and comfortable environment. Certainly, it is better to meditate in a good environment, but it is not a must.

In fact, you can meditate anytime and anywhere.

Even when you are worrying, angry or feel extremely regret, you can decide to begin meditation to get things changed.

The decision to begin meditating is more important than meditation itself.

We always bounded with many many beliefs, but in fact, we are unlimited beings.

So that is to say, you can meditate on the bus, in the car, on the plane, waiting for something or even a purely walk.

Don’t set so many limitations and conditions for a meditation. Meditation itself is just so good a tool to save you from any bad emotions and conditions. Just giving yourself a chance to start meditation, you will find you can always get changed in any environment.

2. load everyday life into mind while meditating

Meditation can make you calm down and begin a new and quiet life.  but many of us always take so many things into meditation.

Generally speaking, for beginners of meditation, it is usual that many things will be loaded into our mind while meditating. and some of them are so important and urgent that we can’t help having it done right now.

But it is better to put them aside and continue meditating. let meditation calm you down and slow you mind down. Don’t worry about so-called urgent and important things because they will be taken good cared of if you can let them go just at this moment.

Meditation is a tool, a powerful tool. It can lead us to the way of finding our true self and go back to it. If you really know that everything is perfect, you can let go let God.

3. ask too much from meditation

What you asked have already been answered, but most of them have been blocked by your own resistance. Meditation is mostly used to take us back to non-resistance state.

You should be in a pure receive-state, and meditation gives you such a chance to have it. Don’t take any problems into meditation, instead, release yourself and calm down.

In fact, you have asked so much in your everyday life. There is no needing to continue asking while meditation.

In fact, what you really need is not asking, but receiving.

    I have a specific visualization of me ENJOYING a specific task along with chanting specific sound units that correspond to that task ;)
